Proudly launching from the Italian shipyard of Mangusta Yachts, Lulus sails forth as the seventh unit in the thrilling Oceano 44 series. Boasting a robust 44.5-metre frame, she was ceremoniously given to the waves from the Group’s facilities in Pisa, Italy. This exciting addition to the advanced Oceano fleet encapsulates magnificence at sea, with every single design choice culminating in what the shipyard describes as ‘one of the finest expressions of Mangusta’s vision for long-range cruising’.
Commissioned by experienced owners and charter enthusiasts, and gracefully sold in December 2023 through Camper & Nicholsons. Lulus’ construction has been overseen by the discerning eye of the New Build Division at Camper & Nicholsons, promising impeccable quality and detail. This assures that the yacht remains with the broker even post-delivery, gliding gracefully into their charter fleet, becoming a grand testament to the prowess of Mangusta’s design.
After seven months of meticulous and attentive refurbishment, the stunning 45-metre motor yacht Awatea by Royal Hakvoort has been re-launched at Balk Shipyard, the renowned shipbuilder based in the Netherlands. It’s not the first time that Awatea has impressed the maritime world; she was first delivered by Royal Hakvoort in 2008, a masterstroke of design by Cor D. Rover, and remains the fourth largest yacht ever produced by the eminent Dutch yard.
This comprehensive refit involved a series of technical upgrades, including the servicing of essential equipment such as engines and generators, watermaker, sewage treatment plant, and other major works. The yacht was additionally enhanced with an advanced HVAC system, new radars, depth and speed sensors, and a full upgrade of the AMS and PMCS systems. The lighting system received an upgrade as well, to enhance the ambiance on board.
