Prepare for uncharted territories of luxury, as the 30m motor yacht Destiny enters the buyer’s market. With Mark Elliott and Zayn Berlin from IYC at the helm, Destiny — a stunning yacht built in 2001 — has navigated through the annals of time whilst preserving its exquisite charm. Described by her brokers as ‘a charter-ready platform’ ideal for both private and commercial utilisation, its prowess tranverses beyond mere aesthetics.
Boasting thoughtful updates and meticulous maintenance, she’s a timeless beacon of maritime elegance. Inside, Destiny unfurls an essence of grandeur, with a spacious interior heightened by a generous 7.1-metre beam and a raised pilothouse. Stepping into the saloon invites an encounter with plush sofas, upholstered furniture, glossy wood accents and deep-pile carpeting. The experience is further enriched with marble detailing, offering the perfect balance of comfort and sophistication.
Manifesting the ultimate maritime poise, Ares Yachts has launched its flagship vessel, a majestic 62-metre sailing yacht christened Simena. Constructed at Ares’ facilities in the beautiful coastal city of Antalya, Simena is built to RINA Class C from an innovative blend of steel–carbon composite, with exceptional design contributions from Taka Yacht Design.
Exuding a nostalgic reminiscence of a ‘gentler age of sail’, Simena’s design draws influence from traditional clipper ships, evidenced by its stylish bow complete with a full-rigged bowsprit and trail board. The yacht’s elegance is further emphasised by traditional teak decks and a varnished Sipo mahogany exterior, in a nod to the extensive marine history of the ancient Turkish city.
