Turkish Shipyard Numarine Introduces Classic Line of Explorer Yachts – A Fresh Twist on Timeless Elegance

Published: 29 Apr 2026
Numarine, the renowned Turkish shipbuilder, has introduced a stylish new range of explorer yachts - the Classic Line, with a focus on showcasing timeless elegance and harmonized design.

Representing a new pinnacle in the world of luxury sea travel, Turkish shipyard, Numarine, has unveiled its latest masterpiece - the Classic Line. This extraordinary new range of explorer yachts manifests an innovative step in the yard’s portfolio, rooted in a profound desire to reinterpret classic yacht aesthetics through the lens of modern exploration. Conceived in partnership with long-standing Numarine collaborator, Can Yalman, the exterior design teems with characteristic Yalman style while introducing a revolutionary touch of design and lifestyle expression. The yachts are a testament to proportion, clarity, and elegance - all built upon Numarine’s existing long-range platforms. These exquisite water chariots emerged from a deliberate period of reflection, as Yalman explains: ‘After working with highly optimized explorer yachts, we desired to reconnect with timeless principles of naval design’. Admiral Yalman and his team sensed a rising wave of desire for such a design approach - one that deviates from excess and instead focuses on harmonious connections with nature and a more timeless, almost romantic life at sea. Nautical connoisseurs will appreciate the naval architecture developed by Umberto Tagliavini, while the initial interiors have been expertly crafted by the Viken Group’s Milan-based studio, Hot Lab. Tagliavini expressed pride in maintaining the principles of efficiency, seaworthiness, stability, and autonomy for which Numarine is revered. Launching the line are the 38XPC and 39MXPC models, each presenting its own identity. The 39MXPC delights with enhanced onboard living provided by a spacious, lavishly designed aft section with a Jacuzzi and open terrace over the water, creating a more social and Mediterranean-style experience, while the 38-metre 38XPC introduces a more classic layout, harking back to traditional yachting heritage. The shift, as a statement from the yard points out, is not in capability, but rather in the experience and expression of these prestige vessels, with a greater emphasis on atmosphere, lifestyle, and timeless design. Thus, with its Classic Line, Numarine offers yacht enthusiasts an exciting, elegant journey into the essence of timeless yachting - a voyage where grandeur, class, and the finer elements of a glorious yachting heritage truly converge.
