Dive into the Majestic Details of Baglietto's New 50m Superyacht: Project Farah, Customised Luxury in a Seaborne Abode
Steeped in the essence of maritime sophistication, the Italian shipyard Baglietto announces its most ambitious venture yet: Project Farah. Project Farah, a 50m full-custom superyacht, is a stunning representation of architectonic ingenuity and nautical luxury. The sub-500GT vessel, currently under construction at Baglietto’s facility in La Spezia, is expected to grace our seas by 2027.
A joint effort by Matheus Farah & Manoel Maia Arquitetura and Fernando de Almeida Yacht Design, Project Farah’s design encapsulates the essence of a terrestrial abode on the open seas. Royal Yacht International, the owner’s representative who also closed the yacht sale in 2024, is faithfully managing the project during the construction phase. Embodying its Arabic name, ‘happiness’, Farah is designed to deliver a sailing experience brimming with joy and serenity without compromising safety and seaworthiness.
Stepping inside, Farah’s interiors feature a ‘warm modernism’ philosophy – minimalist spaces ensconced in natural materials like wood and leather. Adorned in warm brown and sand tones with subtle gold accents and soft lighting, the interior layout excels in functionality and flexibly accommodating different needs.
Fabio Ermetto, CCO of Baglietto, praises Project Farah as a ‘unique and outstanding project’ – a testament to Baglietto’s distinctive expertise in custom yacht manufacturing. Baglietto has a fleet of 18 yachts under development, including three models from its esteemed T60 series. The recent launch of the first T60 hull, now the largest vessel from the Italian shipyard, underscores Baglietto’s prominence in the superyacht industry.
