Italian Shipyard Magnificence: Mangusta Yachts Unleashes Seventh Oceano 44 'Lulus'

Published: 29 May 2026
Mangusta Yachts, Italian luxury shipyard, launches 'Lulus,' the seventh yacht in its famed Oceano 44 series, reflecting supreme mariner excellence.

Proudly launching from the Italian shipyard of Mangusta Yachts, Lulus sails forth as the seventh unit in the thrilling Oceano 44 series. Boasting a robust 44.5-metre frame, she was ceremoniously given to the waves from the Group’s facilities in Pisa, Italy. This exciting addition to the advanced Oceano fleet encapsulates magnificence at sea, with every single design choice culminating in what the shipyard describes as ‘one of the finest expressions of Mangusta’s vision for long-range cruising’.

Commissioned by experienced owners and charter enthusiasts, and gracefully sold in December 2023 through Camper & Nicholsons. Lulus’ construction has been overseen by the discerning eye of the New Build Division at Camper & Nicholsons, promising impeccable quality and detail. This assures that the yacht remains with the broker even post-delivery, gliding gracefully into their charter fleet, becoming a grand testament to the prowess of Mangusta’s design.

Earning remarkable praise for its beach area, which beautifully transforms into a 180-degree platform over the water due to an exceptional large opening transom and fold-down side terraces, the Oceano 44 Lulus exemplifies luxury at sea. Accelerating further than the waves it conquers, Lulus offers superior cruising capabilities, with a top speed of 15.5 knots and a stunning range of 4,500 nautical miles at a jovial cruising speed of 11 knots. Ensuring additional onboard comfort are the electric zero-speed and underway stabilisers.

Lulus joins an illustrious line of recent sisterships, including Dorsia, Eva4Eva and The Great Escape, bringing the total number of yachts on order or under construction by the yard to 25. Evidently, with the launch of Lulus, Mangusta Yachts showcases the luxurious, personal, and explorative possibilities of sea travel on a spectacular scale, raising the bar for the next phase of their remarkable journey.
