Innovation Meets Design with Pershing's Latest GTX90 Model

Pershing, a renowned brand of the Ferretti Group, has once again left boating enthusiasts in awe with a striking new addition to its GTX Sport Utility Yachts range. The brand new 28-metre model, christened as GTX90, made a grand debut at the boot Düsseldorf event held in January. Creators, Italian studio Vallicelli Design and the Group’s Engineering Department, have joined forces to craft an exceptional yacht that seamlessly brings together magnificent interior and exterior spaces, all while upholding high-performance criteria. The yacht is projected to see completion at the Ferretti Group Plug and Mould facility.
As per BOATPro, the construction for the first unit is already underway with an expected delivery date set for this autumn. The GTX90 follows the successful design ethos of its predecessors, with its design revolving around the concept of space, all to maximise onboard comfort. Its exterior, clothed in the signature Pershing Anniversary Silver paint, incorporates GTX series’ distinct design elements, such as a near-vertical bow and a slightly convex sheer line, all contributing to a light yet sporty profile.
One of the yacht’s many distinctive features is the sportsbridge, providing 43% more space than the average for boats of this size. This area is segmented into different parts, where guests can enjoy sunbathing at the stern or delight in al fresco dining amidships. The main living area is easily accessible through a wide five-panel door, offering a fluid indoor-outdoor space when opened. The main saloon is furnished with a show kitchen on one side, balanced with a remarkably elegant bar counter. Accommodations include four opulent en-suite cabins on the lower deck, complete with a full-beam master suite.
But it isn’t all about looks. Designed for high-speed cruising, the GTX90 comes equipped with twin 2,200hp MAN V12 2200 engines and twin Castoldi TurboDrive 600 HCT water jets, promising a combined top speed of 35 knots. The GTX90 is also designed with comfort in mind, featuring the option to install a pair of Seakeeper NG18 gyroscopic stabilizers. Indeed, a testament to Pershing’s continuous quest for excellence, the GTX90 is another magnificent creation poised to become a beloved choice for discerning yacht enthusiasts.
