Journey of Amels 80 Superyacht 'Netto II' - A Symbol of Distinct Identity, Ahead of the Summer Season

Published: 16 Jun 2026
Dutch shipyard Damen Yachting has dispatched its second masterpiece, the 'Netto II', an Amels 80 superyacht, embarking her maiden voyage to the Mediterranean, all set to dominate ahead of the summer season.

Damen Yachting, the much-acclaimed Dutch shipyard, had everyone astir with its announcement of the delivery of their latest work of art – the second Amels 80 superyacht, named ‘Netto II’. Clad in a unique custom “dolphin blue” metallic hull, this 79.8-metre new build embarked on her maiden voyage from the shipyard’s Vlissingen base on 13th June, charting her course to Poole, the UK. From there, she continues her journey to the Mediterranean, looking ahead towards a tantalising summer season on the azure sea.

The grandeur of Netto II was revealed when it first met the water in February 2026, not long after Pangea - the brand’s first in its series, which received a Judges’ Commendation at the World Superyacht Awards the same year. The key features of this impressive sea giant include its serene white superstructure and an elegant platinum bootstripe, which add a sense of graceful dynamism to its dolphin blue hull.

The nautical architecture and external design of the ‘Netto II’ was undertaken by Espen Oino and Damen Yachting respectively, and the interiors are a testament to the refined aesthetics of Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design. Although most details remain classified, some custom features are mentioned prominently, one of them being a sixties-themed casino vibe speakeasy bar. Brightening everyone’s expectations, the shipyard also revealed that JQB Design – an American studio famous for the interior design of the mammoth 126-metre Octopus – would be contributing in several internal and external design areas of the yacht.

The mini sea metropolis carries some noteworthy attributes, among them being an oversized jacuzzi on a 200-square-metre sundeck, a dedicated owner’s deck, and a foredeck helicopter landing area that can be converted into a sports court, providing an opulent and adventurous lifestyle at sea.
