Nautor Swan Unveils Elvi, the Inaugural Sailing Yacht from its Swan 80 Line, Poised For Grand Summer Delivery

Published: 09 Jun 2026
The Finnish shipyard, Nautor Swan, ushers in a new era of yachting excellence, releasing the inaugural Swan 80 sailing yacht, Elvi.

In the shipbuilding industry, a historic moment has been unveiled as Nautor’s Swan christened and launched Elvi, the first of its sophisticated Swan 80 yachts. Exuding style and grace, the 25.5-meter superyacht debuted in a quintessentially Finnish ceremony at Pietarsaari. Awaiting her grand delivery this summer, Elvi is set to dazzle the world in her radiant blue livery at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, followed by her sailing debut at the 2026 Rolex Swan Cup.

The Swan 80 line was a highly anticipated new model revealed at the 2023 Cannes Yachting Festival, evolving from its predecessor, the Swan 78, and adding a ’true maxi’ to Nautor’s Swan’s range. The expert team behind the iconic Swan 108 have reunited to deliver this maritime masterpiece, with German Frers leading the naval architecture, Lucio Micheletti crafting the exteriors, and Misa Poggi styling the interiors.

Elvi is the youngest of Nautor’s Swan’s lineup of Maxi Yachts, which includes the illustrious Swan 88, Swan 98, Swan 108, and the Swan 128. The strength of Elvi’s structure lies in her foam-cored glass fibre reinforced epoxy composition, bolstered with carbon fibre reinforcements.

Elevating Elvi’s grandeur further is a near-flush teak deck, uncluttered, with a low-profile coach roof that extends from the mast to give the marine engineering marvel a sleek, yet compelling allure. A flat cockpit assures various seating and storage configurations. When at anchor, the transom converts into a sunbathing cum swimming area, complete with easy access to a swim platform and tender garage - turning every sea expedition into an unforgettable adventure.

Accommodating up to eight guests, the Swan 80 offers flexible interior configurations across a forward master suite, forward VIP cabin, and two aft guest cabins, while the dedicated crew enjoy discreet quarters with exclusive access, ensuring a seamless blend of comfort, privacy, and functionality.
