Experience Luxury on Water: Custom Line's First Navetta 35 Superyacht Makes Its Initial Voyage in Ancona
It’s a memorable day for the sail-lovers worldwide, especially for the Ferretti Group’s subsidiary, Custom Line, as they announced the launch of the first superyacht from their groundbreaking Navetta 35 series. This remarkable vessel, measuring an impressive 34.5 metres, made its debut in the waters of Ancona, Italy, at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard on 28th May. Senior management of the yard, the owner’s representative, the captain, the surveyor, along with enthusiastic employees of Custom Line and their external collaborators, were all present to witness this historic event.
The Navetta 35 represents an upgrade from the Navetta 33. Unveiled in February, it drew great attention for its contemporary fashion, a strong focus on environmental sustainability, and adherence to modern cruising regulations. Such was the anticipation and excitement for this model that three units had already been sold before the maiden voyage.
One of the key features of the Navetta 35, echoing the yearning for a unique and captivating cruising experience, is its nearly transparent naval architecture. This is capacity to ensure uninterrupted views of the sea, bridging the gap between internal and external spaces. The deliberate arrangement of elegant and comfortable spaces across three decks titillates the senses. Furthermore, a whopping 300 square metres of indoor and outdoor space offer myriad sections for socialising and relaxation. An innovative staircase, designed to blend with the interior, and a main deck free of an external staircase transform the panoramic cockpit into a lively social hub.
The Navetta 35 can comfortably host 10 guests in its five cabins. It comes stocked with two Sleipner fin stabilizers, though owners can choose NG18 and NG26 model Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilisers as an alternate. The superyacht is powered by twin 1,400hp MAN V12 engines, providing a range of up to 1,800 miles in economy mode. For those seeking more power, 1,622hp CAT C32 engines are available.
With 18 yachts currently on order or in construction, Custom Line continues its stride in the industry. Their recent rebranding to Saetta is testimony to their relentless pursuit of innovation and luxury at sea. The Navetta 35, the latest gem in their crown, is just a grand reminder of why Custom Line is a dominant player in the realm of superyachts.
