Braving the waters of innovation, Sunreef Yachts staggers the sailing community with the launch of the first unit of its Sunreef 100 Eco sailing catamaran series. This masterly crafted 29.3 metre vessel caressed the waters for the first time at the shipyard’s facilities in Gdańsk, Poland, and is anticipated to enthral at her world premiere at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, post her final outfitting phase and sea trials.

Commissioned by a loyal Sunreef owner with an appetite for groundbreaking technologies that enhance the cruising experience without forsaking luxury and performance, the sale of this project was declared during the 2022 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, with its construction taking off the following year.

Designed for prolonged sea sojourns, the Sunreef 100 Eco boasts abundant living spaces and luxuriant accommodations. One of the design’s stellar features is its expansive ‘Ocean Lounge’ enveloping the yacht’s aft. Ingeniously conceived with a concealed garage for jet skis and water playthings, the area converts into a ‘seaside terrace’ for sunbathing, mingling, and aquatic sports, facilitated by dual fold-down bulwarks and an extensive aft platform.

On-board features include a full-beam main saloon with a private owner’s suite forward, enveloping guests in sustainable luxury. The yacht’s design lays emphasis on privacy, with deliberately narrow passageways that can be shut off as per the owner’s wish. In a bid to keep up with its eco-essence, the yacht uses ‘responsibly sourced or recycled finishing materials’ and an energy-saving AC system. Accommodation is crafted for 12 lucky guests, with onboard amenities including a spa, gym, office, and bar.

The Sunreef 100 Eco can be enhanced with a spa pool on the flybridge. However, the environmental-conscious owner of hull one decided to pass on this option, sending a strong message of commitment to sustainable enjoyment of the sea.
