Interestingly, although the Marex 390 is slightly shorter than its predecessor, the Marex 375, it outdoes it in all other dimensions, offering a larger beam, increased height above water level, and an estimated 2-3 extra tonnes in weight. This has culminated in a more spacious boat, providing a more comfortable onboard experience and a wider variety of engine options.
Bering is pushing boundaries with its latest creation – the Bering BM50 SE. This 50ft multihull stands as the jewel of Bering’s fleet, outstripping its siblings by 14ft and 20ft respectively.
Labelled as the Swift Explorer (SE), the BM50 SE brings together fluidity and practicality in one place. Its size provides ample space for comfortable living, while the reduced drag and enhanced efficiency of the hydrofoil make every voyage a pleasure. The manufacturer’s projections, claiming a cruising range of 700 Nm at speeds of 25 to 35 knots and a peak speed of around 42 knots, paint a promising picture indeed.
