Poole Quay Boat Haven is the most immediate visitor berth for crews who want to step off the pontoon and straight onto Poole Quay. The location is lively rather than secluded, but it gives visiting boats a practical base close to the Old Town and within the wider shelter of Poole Harbour.

Enter Poole Harbour using current PHC directions, maintain awareness of VHF Channel 14 shipping broadcasts, then proceed to Poole Quay. Call Poole Quay Boat Haven on VHF Channel 80 when nearing the marina; staff allocate the berth on the day of arrival.

Berthing Experience

Visitor berths are heavily used in summer and the operator recommends advance booking. Short stays of up to four hours are offered at Poole Quay Boat Haven, subject to space and allocation on arrival.

Facilities

The operator lists drinking water on all pontoons, shore power, showers, toilets and laundry. Pump-out is available near the Haven entrance but may be obstructed by working-berth activity, so advance contact is recommended.
