Baltic Yachts, the acclaimed Finnish builder, unveils its cutting-edge 37-metre custom cruising sloop, the Baltic 121 Custom.

The lauded Finnish builder Baltic Yachts has made headlines with the launch of its seafaring gem, a 37-metre custom cruising sloop known simply as the Baltic 121 Custom. Currently undergoing final outfitting and sea trials, this masterpiece is awaited on the blue expanses from autumn this year. With the onus on high-performance cruising that withstands the test of deep waters and time, this yacht envisions exhaustive family expeditions on the sea.

Unveiling of the interiors remains awaited; however, designer Adam Lay from the Adam Lay Studio hinted at a modern, nature-inspired theme with clean lines pronounced by muted wood tones. In tandem with aesthetics is the promise of ‘practicality and longevity for relaxed family cruising,’ ensuring an effortless and timeless experience at sea.

Previously, the orders for this custom build were placed in June 2024, highlighting Baltic Yachts’ unparalleled prowess in delivering unmatched experiences on water. Over the past decade, the shipbuilder has delivered 12 yachts—30 metres and above—all within the initial budget, weight targets, and an average deviation of only a week from contractual delivery dates. Before its launch, the yacht was last observed in February 2025, when the hull was successfully removed from its mould at the yard’s facility in Jakobstad.

Specifications that make this yacht a sailing aficionado’s dream include an impressive beam of 8.3 metres, a draught varying from 4.2 to 6.4 metres, and a light displacement of 108T. For the uninitiated, Baltic Yachts also has a 32.9-metre bluewater cruising catamaran under construction, known as the Baltic 107. One thing is clear: Baltic Yachts is raising the bar for modern sailing.
