In the face of every test and trial set by the alluring Mediterranean seascape, the championship coursed from August 4th to the 8th, with each participating team vying for the prized titles.

With six competitive classes, each with heavy participation and widespread international representation, the tournament was a monumental testament to the diligent work of the whole organising committee year-round.

The 44th Copa del Rey did not limit itself to merely sporting prowess. Beginning with an official presentation and venerated Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony, it unfurled a vibrant social programme that painted a comprehensive picture of the undying nautical spirit. This social canvas was further enriched by the premiere of the documentary ‘Cáscara de Nuez’, directed by Miguel Ángel Tobías, which immortalised the daring Atlantic journey of 13 adventurers.

Further, the event boasted a mesmerising Welcome Cocktail against the stunning Bay of Palma and a lively music-filled White Cocktail evening by Mapfre, maintaining a tradition of revealing the guest artist at the last possible moment. The prestige of the event was crowned by the Prize-Giving Ceremony, presided over by His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain at the revered Almudaina Palace, marking a suitably regal finale to the unforgettable maritime spectacle.
