Loch Earn Sailing Club is braced to host the 2026 Scottish Schools Brown Cup. A fleet of young, enthusiastic sailors from different schools across Scotland are expected to partake in the event. It’s no ordinary cup, but a benchmark of superiority as the organisers aim to create a congenial yet competitive atmosphere where the love for sailing blooms in each participant. The event is not just directed towards the experienced juniors, but it also encompasses the newer entrants, providing them with the opportunity to sail and compete in one of their first regattas. The event has been systematically designed to involve fleets of Topper, Optimist, RS Feva and Handicap.

This prestigious Brown Cup will be presented to the top school team comprising three boats. But that’s not all! Prizes are also planned for individual and class performances. Among the variety of boats, Optimists, Toppers and handicap classes will be dominant. It’s a definite spectacle to behold as the young take to the waters, setting sail for glory in Scotland’s prestigious sailing event. To keep up with further information, enthusiasts are advised to follow updates on the Scottish Schools Sailing website. Unquestionably, the 2026 Brown Cup Scottish Schools Regatta is set to make a splash, bringing together the future stars of Scottish sailing.
