Founded in 1889, the Indian Harbor Yacht Club is one of the most historic and architecturally striking yacht clubs on the U.S. East Coast. Located in Greenwich, Connecticut, on the western edge of Long Island Sound, IHYC has long been a pioneer in both offshore racing and yacht design innovation.

The club’s Mediterranean Revival-style clubhouse, built in 1919, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It offers commanding views over Captain’s Harbor and features formal and casual dining, a member bar, library, conference rooms, junior club facilities, and elegant event spaces. The club’s docks accommodate vessels up to 100 feet, and the marina includes fuel, pump-out, and tender service.

IHYC has a prestigious racing heritage and regularly participates in and hosts major regattas, including the Newport Bermuda Race, Vineyard Race, and Harbor Fest Regatta.
