Why Nobody Wants Trimarans Anymore (The Fastest Sailboats on Earth)
Everyday Sailing · 29 Oct 2026 · YouTube
· 24 videos
From cruising yachts and bluewater passage-makers to SailGP's foiling catamarans, this page gathers the newest sailing films from channels we trust, including Yachting Monthly, Practical Sailor, North Sails and liveaboard crews such as Sailing La Vagabonde and Sailing Uma. Expect boat tests, sail trim and seamanship tips, ocean crossings and race highlights.
We favour videos that teach as well as entertain: sail-trim explainers, heavy-weather technique, anchoring, passage planning and honest boat tests of production cruisers from Beneteau, Jeanneau, Bavaria and Hallberg-Rassy. Grand-prix racing from SailGP sits alongside liveaboard diaries, so whether you race round the cans in the Solent or dream of the trade winds, there is something here for your next watch below.
Pair these videos with our harbour and marina guides and the latest Old Sea Dogs stories.

Every other day. Harbour TV checks trusted channels and YouTube search for new sailing videos and refreshes this page automatically; the date at the top shows the last update.
We start from a hand-picked list of reputable sailing channels, add recent English-language search results with a minimum view count, and remove clickbait, reposts, made-for-kids and blocked content. No more than three videos per channel appear in a section.
Full-length videos are reviews, tours and films of a few minutes or more. Shorts are vertical clips of up to about a minute (or up to three minutes when tagged #shorts), shown in their own row.
No video loads until you press play, and then it uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com player.
