Aeri Studio Introduces Aeon - A 60m Yacht Concept Featuring Japanese-Inspired Interiors

French design firm Aeri Studio recently revealed their newest 60-metre yacht concept, Aeon, boasting a flowing hull form and Japanese-inspired interiors.

A Paris-based design firm called Aeri Studio has initiated a wave of attention with its newest release – the Aeon. A 60-meter motor yacht concept, Aeon’s design aesthetic is best described as a ‘single sculptural volume’. From bow to stern, the yacht displays a flowing hull form with taut lines that eventually converge aft. It sports a dynamic profile, maintaining its visual appeal even when at anchor. The superstructure of the yacht mirrors this philosophy in design. It features decks that are progressively recessed from the preceding one, hosting a chain of large outdoor terraces to instigate movement, openness, and a deep connection with the surroundings.

The design brilliance of Aeon’s interiors draws heavily from the time-honored Japanese art of Sumi-e (ink painting). Hand-painted panels and carefully selected refined materials are used to curate living spaces that exude tranquility and invoke contemplative thoughts. Aeri’s studio founder, Julien Cadro, further amplified the essence of water to draw parallels with the serene and harmonious environment onboard Aeon.

Aeon is expected to boast an interior volume surpassing 500GT and a wide 10.5-meter beam. Cadro shared that the existing concept can be further blossomed in cooperation with shipyards and new build brokers. It’s worth noting that Aeri Studio recently unveiled a 42-meter motor yacht concept named ‘Glide’, acclaimed for challenging conventional superyacht planning through its open design and an empathetic human approach towards life on board.
