Turkish Triumph: Dearsan Shipyard's Spectacular Launch of the 50m Mega Yacht Queen Yaz

Dearsan Shipyard, a leading Turkish builder, has unveiled its 50.2-metre superyacht Queen Yaz, combining artistry and sophistication in an incredible feat of naval architecture.

In an awe-inspiring display of ingenuity and artistry, Turkish builder Dearsan Shipyard has launched its 50.2 metre new build superyacht, Queen Yaz. This exceptional yacht, resting on the seamless blend of aluminium and steel, was first announced in January the previous year. Construction started earnestly in 2024, following the completion of the hull and superstructure.

At the unveiling, Dearsan Shipyard’s CEO, Murat Gordi, could not hide his immense pride. ‘At Dearsan Shipyard, we take immense pride in building yachts that embody innovation and artistry,’ he noted, further adding how Queen Yaz is a testament to the team’s ardour and mastery. Collaboration with Red Yacht Design and naval architects Milimetriq brought this plush vessel to the waters.

Affirming the seamless collaboration, Fatih Sürekli, the managing director at Red Yacht Design, said, ‘Designing Queen Yaz has been an incredible journey. We aimed to create a yacht that embodies sophistication while providing ultimate comfort for her guests.’ The Queen Yaz is not just another yacht launched; she represents a significant milestone, soon to become the flagship of the Dearsan Shipyard fleet.
