Adventures on the Horizon: ISA Yachts' Third Unica 45M Steel Model is Underway
Italian masters of maritime construction, ISA Yachts, have kicked-off their latest venture: building the third yacht in their Unica 45M Steel series, scheduled for deployment in 2029. Innovatively designed for extended blue water journeys, this megayacht offers a rare mix of substantial fuel capacity, in excess of 60,000 litres, and a high-displacement, steel hull.
One of the defining attributes of this vessel is its distinctive stern design spread over three cascading levels, replete with sun lounging spaces, an infinity cockpit, and a plush pool. The highlight? Incredible ocean views through an elegant glass balustrade.
Boasting voluminous living spaces and extensive outdoor decks, this model offers large glass surfaces to amplify the synergy with the surrounding seascape. Notable features include alfresco dining on the upper aft deck, a vast bow area primed for sunbathing and socialising, and a 16-metre-long sundeck adorned with a jacuzzi, lounge, and dining area.
The main deck is a wellness and gastronomy haven, with a gymnasium and a formal dining area. In a departure from the original layout seen in the first two models, the third unit comprises a spacious VIP cabin—distinguished by a walk-in wardrobe and lavish bathroom—occupies the front section of the deck. The lower deck contains four guest cabins, all featuring ensuite bathrooms.
Providing an enviable autonomy, the yacht is powered by twin CAT C32 engines, allowing a maximum speed of 15 knots, a cruising speed of 14 knots, and an impressive range of 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
According to BOATPro, ISA Yachts has distinguished itself in the maritime construction realm with 16 yachts presently ordered or under construction, including a recent unveiling of an extraordinary 70-metre superyacht design framed in an alliance with Lobanov Design.
