The 49-metre Royal Hakvoort Motor Yacht Olmida Finds a New Owner

An iconic icon of nautical splendour, the 49m motor yacht 'Olmida', crafted by Dutch shipyard Royal Hakvoort, has been sold to a new owner.

Bearing the mark of Dutch shipyard excellence, Royal Hakvoort’s motor yacht ‘Olmida’ has changed hands. With stature and grandeur embodied in its exquisite 49-metre length, the yacht was beautifully brought to life in 2010.

Acclaimed for its superior construction in steel and aluminium, Olmida is a tribute to the architectural brilliance of Glade Johnson and Diana Yacht Design. For the past decade, Olmida has been privately cherished by two owners, each contributing to the high-standards of maintenance that it proudly boasts.

In 2020, the superyacht benefitted from an essential maintenance update. This included a fresh paint coat for the hull and superstructure, alongside audio-visual and IT enhancements, ensuring guests can enjoy their voyages with the optimum in modern convenience. Olmida also passed a rigorous assessment for the RINA class certificate in 2024, further proof of its remarkable quality and preparation for sea adventures.

Additional guest spaces, convertible cabins for added flexibility, and staff quarters complete the composition. Welcoming social gatherings with an alfresco dining setting, bar and lounge, Olmida ensures a captivating charm and magnetic energy surround it.

At the heart of the yacht lies power and precision, with twin MTU engines capable of 13.2 knots maximum speed and boasting a cruising speed of 12.5 knots. From top-notch deck design to the versatility in culinary delights, Olmida continues to captivate sailors with its elegance and charm.
