Designed by Pierluigi Ausonio PLANA, the yacht displays a wide-body design, complete with a sharp carbon fibre superstructure that bolsters interior volume without compromising an iota on performance. Outfitted by Stefano Righini, her exterior design is streamlined, elegant and sleek. Step inside and marvel at the Salvagni Architetti interior; it’s a grand display of Italian style, featuring curved forms and warm tones offset by the yacht’s generous 7.3-metre beam and full-height windows that allow for abundant natural light.
Signal the trumpets and hoist the sails, the exquisitely designed Feadship motor yacht, Somnium has found a new owner. Representing the seller were Feadship Resale’s Folkert Schoots and senior sales broker Alex Lees-Buckley of Camper & Nicholsons. The award-winning yacht boasts a uniquely elegant look, with a sleek, all-aluminium Studio De Voogt exterior and commanding naval architecture by Feadship De Voogt.
To augment her Dutch build, Italian design studio FM - Architettura d’interni was enlisted to craft her interiors, drawing inspiration from the untamed splendour of the Galápagos Islands. Her bespoke design was recognisably superior, earning her a much-coveted Neptune at the 2022 World Superyacht Awards. And as far as price tags go, Somnium commanded an impressive €57,500,000, with VAT covered by the seller.
