Xwave, the stellar 32.3-metre Sanlorenzo SL106 motor yacht, starts a fresh course under a new owner; a testament to the enduring allure of sea conquest.

In the labyrinth of the luxury yacht market, deals sail in and out on a daily basis. One such captivating tale is the recent acquisition of the grand 32.3-metre Sanlorenzo motor yacht ‘Xwave’. This sophisticated vessel has charted new horizons, embarking on a fresh ownership voyage. This successful transaction was navigated by the astute trio of Alex Dineen and Simon Goldsworthy from Edmiston, who stood representing the seller, and Dimitris Kyriazakos of Ekka Yachts, who welcomed the buyer into the scenic world of yachting. Xwave is a burgee of Sanlorenzo, built in 2019 as a proud member of the celebrated SL106 portfolio. This yacht, with her sleek shell drawn by the exceptional Francesco Paszkowski and contemporary interiors by Marty Lowe personifies the essence of private ownership. The vessel, pristinely maintained, has just concluded her five-year class survey at the Lauderdale Marine Centre, Florida, before traversing into the hands of her new owner. As one steps on board, Xwave’s luxurious offering unravels — five elegantly tailored cabins that sleep up to ten guests, each with their en suite facilities, provide comfort for the tranquil sailing nights. An open-plan main saloon boasting a vibrant design scheme elegantly complements the dining section that exudes an aura of sophistication, perfectly completed by the natural light pouring in from the expansive windows. The exterior decks of the SL106 highlight the expansive flybridge with an equipped helm station, inviting for pleasurable lounging or alfresco dining. The aft deck doubles as another dining spot or a seashore-like lounging area. The swim platform links to the transom tender garage that houses a 4.5-metre tender and a Jet Ski — the perfect ingredients for water-based fun. Propelled by twin 2,400hp MTU diesel engines, she cruises effortlessly, reaching a top speed of 28 knots and a range of 400 nautical miles. Stabilisers guarantee the smoothest of voyages in all weather conditions, and her Americas Edition upgrade package makes her versatile and apt for both American and European waters. So, as Xwave charts her new course, the promise of enriching voyages and endless fun lies on the horizon.
