40-Metre Christensen Motor Yacht 'Sweet Escape' Now in New Hands
The 39.6-metre Christensen motor yacht christened Sweet Escape has exchanged hands. The prestigious vessel became a delight to a new owner, thanks to the broker team helmed by Jarrett Hiebert of Merle Wood & Associates, and Will Noftsinger and Paolo Ameglio of Denison Yachting.
Originated from the reputable US yard, The Sweet Escape was birthed into the aquatic world in 1993, having gone through a total refit in 2023. The asking price for this magnificent entity stood last at a cool $3,999,999.
The main saloon of the yacht gushes of comfort, adorned with a large sofa, cosy armchairs, a coffee table, a grand piano and a game table. A glass wine rack artistically separates the saloon from a large formal dining table that lies forward.
The aft deck finds shelter under the overhang of the deck situated above and exhibits built-in settees and a teak table, making it perfect for outdoor dining. The skylounge, beautified by large windows that pour in natural light, serves as an ideal lounging spot for relaxing, watching films, or socialising. The sun deck is fitted with a barbecue, Jacuzzi, sun pads, and optional shade, making it a crowd favourite.
Powered by Twin C32 Caterpillar 1,650hp engines, Sweet Escape comfortably cruises at a speed of 12 knots. It has a commendable range of 2,000 nautical miles, with a full throttle speed peaking at 17 knots.
