Shine R, the 27m Sunseeker Motor Yacht, Changes Hands and Sails to New Waters

The luxurious shine of the 27m Sunseeker motor yacht, aptly named ‘Shine R’, is catching new rays under a new flag. The sale was a success, with Sotiris Konstantakis of Fraser and Justin Garwell of JD Yachts representing the seller. Now, following her sale, the ‘Shine R’ will be available for charter with Fraser Yachts Greece, bringing a true taste of luxury to the Aegean Sea. Since its inception in 2011 by Sunseeker, the makers infused every aspect of ‘Shine R’ with signature style. Constructed in GRP, this gem from the yard’s 88 Yacht series truly shines inside and out. The yacht’s last overhaul took place in 2021, where it saw a flag transition to Greece and took on the new name ‘Shine R’ from ‘Kappusha’. The sale did not dim the shine of the yacht, the magnificent vessel was last seen asking €1,590,000. Aboard the yacht, space is comfortably allotted for eight guests across four exquisite suites. The suites, which include a full-beam master and VIP suites, have been designed with both comfort and luxury in mind, each featuring grand walk-in wardrobes. An open saloon located on the main deck is furnished with crisp white sofas and a dining area meticulously set up for relaxing, dining, and entertaining. Additionally, the flybridge offers an extra lounging area along with al fresco dining, a wet bar, and sun pads. Designed with a cruising speed of 23 knots, the ‘Shine R’ is powered by twin Caterpillar 1,902hp engines and fitted with stabilisers for ensuring maximum comfort both at anchor and underway. This alleviates and smoothens sailing to offer a luxurious experience. Its ingenuity doesn’t end there; a flybridge crane for loading water toys and a hydraulic lift swim platform for easy water access only enhances the yacht’s functionality. The brokers extended a special thanks to the yacht’s manager, Ioannis Tsirigotis, for his professionalism and support throughout the process.
