Second Unit from the Mangusta GranSport 34 Series Snapped Up by Experienced Turkish Buyer
The high seas are set to welcome another luxurious gem as Italian shipyard, Mangusta Yachts, a prestigious brand of the Overmarine Group, confirms the sale of the second unit of the Mangusta GranSport 34 series. The buzz around the latest in mangusta luxury resonates far and wide, reaching the shores of Turkey, where an experienced yacht owner has eagerly claimed the sophisticated vessel.
Expected to land in its new owner’s arms in 2026, the sale was skillfully facilitated by BTWO Marine. The 33.9-metre yacht stands tall in the alignment of the brand’s smaller, albeit successful Mangusta GranSport 33 series. Drawing from the success of its predecessor, the GranSport 34 raises the stakes with improved performance and a meticulously fine-tuned design, courtesy of Overmarine’s Engineering Department and Monaco-based designer, Alberto Mancini.
BTWO Marine’s Omer Balkan, the Mangusta sales representative for Turkey, reflected on the sale of the second Mangusta GranSport 34 as a testament to the yacht’s value combining fast-displacement performance, refined comfort, and timeless beauty. Nicolò Strocco, Mangusta sales manager, voiced that the sale indicates the value and demand of the GranSport 34 in the Turkish market and the yachting industry at large.
Keeping up with the ripe appetite for luxury yachting, the motorized beauty is powered by four Volvo Penta 1,000hp engines and an IPS pod system, engineered to ensure easy manoeuvrability while efficiently reducing consumption, vibrations and noise. This sleek sea whisperer is expected to reach maximum speeds of 24 knots. The shipyard celebrated the sale of its first in-build unit earlier this year. As reported by BOATPro, Overmarine Group currently has 24 yachts under construction or on order.
