Legendary 55-Meter Feadship Motor Yacht Olympus Changes Hands After a $10,000,000 Refit

Relaying tales of grandeur and sophistication, the Olympus, a 55-meter motor yacht from the renowned Feadship, has finally discovered fresh horizons to conquer. Brokers Alex Busher of Edmiston and Stuart Larsen of Fraser cemented the sale, with the buyer introduced by Simon Ting of SuperYachtsMonaco.

Born from the expertise of the renowned British design studio Winch Design, the Olympus graced the waters in 1996. The naval architecture bears a testimony to the legend of Frits De Voogt, keeping her steadiness over the ocean waves. The Olympus found herself under the same patronage for almost three decades before debuting in the market in 2022. She further underwent a grand refit, worth a staggering $10 million, and was taken care of by the folks at Monaco Marine in 2023. The Feadship’s original Dutch builders also conducted a thorough winter maintenance, which entailed significant upgrades and enhancements to the tune of $5 million.

Featured on the main deck is a commodious master cabin, accessorized with a private observation lounge, a dedicated office, an en suite, along with a gym-cum-hairdressing salon. Meanwhile, guest accommodations comprise one VIP suite, two twin cabins, two doubles accompanied by pullman berths, and two singles. In addition, a well-equipped space is available for up to 16 diligent crew members.

Promising an exquisite culinary experience, an oval dining table awaits guests on the main deck, forward of the saloon. An open-air dining setup is also in place on the aft deck. Catering to social and private requirements, the bridge deck houses a skylounge functioning either as a VIP private lounge or a secondary social space.

The Lloyds-classified and MCA-compliant motor yacht is powered by twin 2,600hp Caterpillar diesels, ensuring a smooth voyage with a cruising speed of 12 knots and a maximum speed of 17.5 knots. With her multiple amenities and tailored luxuries, the Olympus offers an unmatched experience of living on board, promising beautiful memories on the ocean waves.
