The Sea Shimmers with Moonrise: Feadship’s Majestic 101-meter Superyacht Embarks on its Nautical Journey

Published: 16 Jul 2025
Emerging from successful trials in the chilly North Sea, the 101-meter Feadship superyacht Moonrise, a marriage of innovation and style, has been delivered.

There is a beam of moonlight glittering on the horizon as Feadship’s latest brainchild, the 101-meter superyacht Moonrise, begins her maiden journey, having breezed through successful trials in the harsh North Sea. With Studio De Voogt at the helm of the sleek exterior design and the warm palette of Rémi Tessier adorning the interior, Moonrise pays homage to her predecessor’s signature aesthetic while incorporating significant advancements.

Sharing more than a name with its forerunner, Moonrise carries the hallmark sleek exterior lines, the grey and snow-white colour scheme, and the signature ‘powerful vertical bow’. However, she distinguishes herself with numerous technological enhancements and finer design nudges. An alteration is evident in the absence of the domes, traditionally housing VSAT and TVRO antennas. In their place, Moonrise boldly integrates Starlink satellite receivers into the superstructure, enhancing communication and streaming capabilities, and preserving the streamlined aesthetic.

Launched in March 2025, attention to Moonrise was fixated on noise reduction. Unique propellers and appendages, coupled with a first of its kind hyper-resilient anchor winch foundation, contribute to reducing underwater noise and minimizing sound pollution within the yacht. The secretive nature of this project allowed the world to catch its first glimpse of Moonrise only in late 2023. Since then, every new reveal - from shell doors on the lower deck to potential tender garages - have piqued interest and raised expectations.

As Moonrise sails away into the vast seas, the Dutch yard readies itself for a busy season, having recently celebrated the launch of Project 827 and the 79.9-meter Faith. The seascape is indeed shimmering under the radiant light of Moonrise.
