Italian Shipyard Cantiere delle Marche Unleashes the First Unit in Acciaio 130 Series: The 'Presence'

Luminous against the backdrop of the sea, ‘Presence’, the first unit in the Acciaio 130 series from Italian shipyard Cantiere delle Marche (CDM), has made its grand entrance. A product of experienced craftsmanship and technical prowess, ‘Presence’ marks a significant moment in CDM’s diverse portfolio, adding another dimension to the shipbuilding industry.

Following the precedent set by its famed predecessors - Acciaio 105 Gatto and Acciaio 123 Astrum, ‘Presence’ emerges as the third, and largest, model in the Acciaio range. An exclusive ensemble of an all-Italian design team is the force behind its creation, resulting in a charming blend of aesthetic appeal and functionality.

Interior details, yet to be unravelled, invite curiosity and promise an engaging living environment. Designer Giorgio M. Cassetta describes the spaces within ‘Presence’ as rich in persona, veering towards playful rather than pretentious, promising comfortable areas for both relaxation and entertainment.

Collaboration is at the heart of this remarkable creation. Richard Kaye, project manager of Arcon Yachts, mirrors the sentiment of pride and satisfaction as he talks about the fruitful partnership between CDM and Arcon Yachts. Their combined efforts have borne fruit in the form of ‘Presence’, the third Acciaio model involving them both.

‘Presence’ offers not only an aesthetically refreshing design but also an efficient hull that keeps fuel consumption to a minimum. Powered by twin MAN D2862LE engines, it can cruise for an impressive range of 5,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. Other key specifications that make ‘Presence’ a beacon of progress include an eight-metre beam and a displacement of approximately 388 tons.
