FDC Yachts, a renowned Turkish shipyard, has recently released details of its latest customised pocket superyacht, known as ‘Project Umai.’ The 26-metre hull has already begun to take shape at the shipyard’s facilities in Bodrum and is expected to be completed by May 2027. The ‘Project Umai’ superyacht combines steel hull and aluminium superstructure, a classic creation stemming from the effort of FDC’s talented design team in tandem with FORM Yacht Design.

The new vessel reportedly embodies the essence of ‘modern classic’ Mediterranean design. It flawlessly marries extravagant external dimensions with contemporary onboard comfort, making it a testament to the shipbuilder’s aesthetic sensibility and functional design.

One of the distinct features of this yacht is the inclusion of a silent mode option, aimed at significantly mitigating noise and vibration while at anchor, ensuring peaceful seafaring experience for the onboard guests. As for performance, ‘Project Umai’ is projected to reach a maximum speed of 14 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots spanning a range of 2,500 nautical miles.

FDC Yachts asserts that Project Umai exemplifies their quality commitment, reflecting robust engineering, elegant exterior styling, and highly customisable interiors that cater to modern yachting lifestyles. This superyacht is a superb blend of long-range capability and refined Mediterranean-inspired living spaces, in a vivid demonstration of FDC Yachts’ vision and expertise.
