Italian shipyard Wally has embarked on a new sea venture with its compact, 14.5m Wallytender48 weekender, a versatile boat that boasts powerful performance and an innovative design.

The launch of the wallypower118, or Galeocerdo, established Wally as a pioneer in the yachting world, thanks to its futuristic and unique design. Decades later, Wally continues to embody a daring, innovative spirit, most recently evident in the launch of the wallytender48. This compact, versatile dayboat is a testament to Wally’s philosophy, combining cutting-edge technology, seamless design, and practical functionality for a closer proximity to the sea.

Easily boarded via a retractable passerelle, the wallytender48 continues to impress with the excellent utilisation of space. Its 4.4-meter beam is cleverly expanded at anchor by the fold-down bulwarks. A highlight is the swim platform’s ability to transform into a spacious floating terrace, making it the ideal social hub. Be it as a superyacht tender or a standalone dayboat, the wallytender48 encourages barefoot living, easy swims and endless oceanic pleasures.

Wowing furthermore with its smart engineering, the wallytender48 hosts a concealed anchoring system, maintaining the yacht’s clean, sculptural profile. Performance, true to Wally’s spirit, remains crucial. The twin Volvo Penta IPS 650 engines offer a top speed of 38 knots and a cruising range of 300 nautical miles at a steady 32 knots. The deep-V hull ensures stability at speed, while joystick controls allow intuitive manoeuvring. Clearly, with the Wallytender48, the future of sea outings is here.
