Introducing Bering’s Newest and Largest Powercat: A First Look at the BM50 SE
Bering is pushing boundaries with its latest creation – the Bering BM50 SE. This 50ft multihull stands as the jewel of Bering’s fleet, outstripping its siblings by 14ft and 20ft respectively.
Labelled as the Swift Explorer (SE), the BM50 SE brings together fluidity and practicality in one place. Its size provides ample space for comfortable living, while the reduced drag and enhanced efficiency of the hydrofoil make every voyage a pleasure. The manufacturer’s projections, claiming a cruising range of 700 Nm at speeds of 25 to 35 knots and a peak speed of around 42 knots, paint a promising picture indeed.
Stepping inside, there’s a peripheral galley opposite a diner with a raised cabinet. This carefully thought-out interior generates additional space for two bathrooms, while a raised bow deck means two forward cabins without reducing the bridge deck. The helm, positioned centrally on the deck, is complemented by an accommodating secondary helm on the flybridge with a nearby L-shaped diner.
In short, the Bering BM50 SE redefines boating by amalgamating efficiency, speed, and luxury, ensuring an unforgettable voyage every time you set sail.
