Commencing at a young age, many sailors sail single-handed dinghies, gradually moving up through different fleets. Yet there is something incredibly enticing about stepping in a Merlin Rocket for the first time. It’s enough to completely sweep off anyone’s feet. This specific difference was discovered by several young sailors in a training session held at Fisher Green Sailing Club. Unlike any other normal day of training, May 23rd was different. It was the culmination of a series of training sessions leading up to the final Merlin Rocket youth program session.
