The highly-awaited UK J/70 Grand Slam Series begins, marking the stirring start of a seven-event bonanza celebrated on the water.

Unveiling of the UK J/70 Grand Slam Series marks the beginning of an exciting competition. The waters of the Hamble River and Cowes are playing host to this sporting spectacle, bringing more than 20 J/70s under the spotlight. As the yachts assemble on the Hill Head plateau, they pave the way for the racing season born amidst the swells of anticipation.

Prior to setting sail, some enthusiastic teams had shed the winter’s lethargy and geared up for action through early training events of the year. However, it is this kick-off series that officially marks the comeback of racing since its hiatus in October. As the ripples of excitement stretch across the waters, several first-time participants have also found their way to the J/70 start line.
