The battle in the waters saw Pauline Courtois and her Match in Pink Normandy Elite team from France clash with USA’s Nicole Breault and her Vela Racing team. Both teams displayed exemplary sportsmanship and strategic prowess, earning hard-won spots in the final event.

First up in the semi-finals were Courtois and Julia Aartsen’s Team out of the Box from the Netherlands. The Dutch team showcased a strong start, throwing Courtois’s undefeated streak into jeopardy. However, Courtois’s French team retaliated in grand style, executing flawless starts and tactically defending their position in almost all upwind tacking duels. Securing three straight victories, Team Courtois emerged victorious with a 3-1 triumph over their Dutch opponents.
