The Luxurious Vintage Charm of the 35m Benetti Yacht 'Star of the Sea' Woos New Buyer

The impeccably styled, 35m vintage Benetti motor yacht, known as ‘Star of the Sea,’ is now in the hands of a new, fortunate owner. Replete with history, this splendid maritime masterpiece was originally built and delivered by the Italian shipyard Benetti in 1983; its design hailing from the same quarters.

Sporting a ‘vintage’ steel and aluminum build, Star of the Sea transformed its sheen thanks to major renovation in 2016 followed by a comprehensive $1,000,000+ revamp in 2024. Two decades under the ownership of ‘Solafide’, the yacht now heralds a new era under a fresh mantle.

The master cabin elegantly rests forward on the main deck, segueing into a formal dining room adjacent to the main saloon aft, perfectly partitioned with sliding doors. Gloss-varnished woodwork brightened with colorful upholstery adds a traditional spirit onboard.

The recent refit took care of installing essential plate updates, replacing through-hull valves and fresh carpeting throughout, along with a bow thruster replacement among other upgrades. The yacht further contributed to disaster relief activities during the La Soufriére volcano eruption in 2021.
