Discover Antonini Navi and Nauta’s ‘Project Light 63M’: A Bold Yachting Concept Shaped by Rising Demand for Larger Vessels
The innovative Italian maritime creators at Antonini Navi have once again demonstrated their savoir-faire by unveiling a fresh 63.5-metre yachting concept. The new design, known as Project Light 63M, is a collaborative brainchild born out of their partnership with the skilled designers at Milan-based studio Nauta. The proposal was inspired by in-depth discussions with yachting brokers and seasoned yacht owners who highlighted the increasing market thirst for larger yachts exceeding 500GT.
Chosen for its far-ranging industry experience, including commendable work on iconic vessels such as Lürssen’s 180.6-metre Azzam and 142.1-metre Dragonfly, as well as the 88.4-metre Feadship yacht Zen, Nauta embodies a synergy of expertise. The collaboration manifests a clear understanding of the yachting world and thus, the Project Light 63M is an affirmation of this mutual respect and transcontinental partnership.
The distinctive owner’s apartment and the VIP cabin are augmented with private outdoor terraces, adding an extra layer of opulence. A well-positioned gym benefits from an influx of natural light thanks to skylights and triple-aspect windows. The interiors, inspired by a ‘contemporary Mediterranean aesthetic’, bring together warm tones, light-coloured surfaces, and natural materials.
According to maritime information platform BOATPro, Antonini Navi is currently supervising the construction of two new yachts: the first model of their semi-custom steel and aluminium series, the Seamore 34, and the EVO 31, a full-custom motor yacht, both nearing their launch date. With their continued focus on blending luxury with efficiency, Antonini Navi is not just building yachts; they are shaping the future of marine luxury.
