Baglietto Continues Superyacht Momentum with Sale of Third T60, Eyeing a 2029 Launch
Baglietto, a historically prominent player in the Italian shipyard industry, has once again proven its dominance. The company has recently announced the sale of its third unit from the much-acclaimed T60 motor yacht series. The 60.6-metre superyacht is currently being constructed at Baglietto’s La Spezia-based yard. Construction began under speculation in 2025 and delivery is anticipated no later than 2029. The sale was successfully secured in collaboration with James Lloyd of Edmiston, further showcasing Baglietto’s adroitness in forming prosperous partnerships. Significantly, this sale secured by Baglietto follows closely on the heels of the first unit from the line, now recognised as the largest vessel built by the Italian shipyard, hitting the water. The yacht’s distinctive exterior design is the innovative creation of Francesco Paszkowski Design, who also collaborated with Margherita Casprini on the interior elaborations. Naval architecture was ably taken care of by Pierluigi Ausonio, resulting in a breathtaking realization of engineering and design creativity. The third unit is being constructed in step with Baglietto’s second hull, scheduled for delivery in 2027, and boasts “innovative design solutions that challenge the traditional separation of onboard spaces.”, according to the shipyard. The indoor and outdoor concepts, as well as formality and informality, are deftly put together to craft a coherent, fluid on-board experience. Among the remarkable features of this model are a broad beach area flanked by a sauna, a beach lounge complete with a swimming pool, a bar, a gym, and a voluminous main saloon and dining area that seamlessly connects to the exterior through full-height glazed surfaces. Baglietto’s commercial officer, Fabio Ermetto, expressed his profound satisfaction following this landmark sale, further confirming Baglietto’s commitment to churning out yachts that are not only designed with modern aesthetics but also incorporate advanced technology alongside high levels of customization. Baglietto presently has approximately 18 new builds either underway or on order, including the full-custom 49.7-metre Project Farah, further broadcasting its esteemed status within the world of yacht-making. Baglietto is clearly sailing into an exciting future.
