The famed Sunseeker 116, Survivor 2, a marvel of nautical engineering, has officially been sold.

In the world of opulent sea vessels, the 35.2-metre Sunseeker 116 motor yacht, the Survivor 2, stands unrivalled. Uniting modern technology with fine artistry, the craft is the epitome of nautical prowess. The yacht has recently found a new owner marking another major highlight in its illustrious history.

Representing the seller was accomplished boat-seller, Mark Seaton of YACHT, and Mo Jannoun of Yacht Masters Monaco delightfully ushered in the buyer. Survivor 2, a British manufactured vessel by Sunseeker buil, was handed over to its new owner, signifying a marvellous closing for both parties.

Delivered in 2016, this vessel stands as the fourth offering of the prestigious Sunseeker 116 series. To date, an impressive total of 22 units have been delivered, according to BOATPro, but Survivor 2, exceptional with its €9,900,000 price tag, VAT covered, remains the series’ flagship.

Designed with an emphasis on entertainment, the spacious main saloon of Survivor 2 boasts full-height windows, a 55-inch Samsung LED television screen, and a Harmon Kadron stereo surround system. Equipped with wenge wood, light-coloured walls, and furniture and metallic finishes, the interior adorns a chic, stylish Mediterranean scheme. A dining area accommodating ten guests further magnifies the yacht’s grandeur.

The foredeck of the yacht is a hub of entertainment in itself, securing a well-sized Jacuzzi spa tub, dining provisions and sunpads. The flybridge shelters an alfresco lounging and dining area under a retractable sunroof. The Survivor 2 is powered by twin 2,6450hp MTU engines, breaking waters at a majestic 26 knots at top speed and cruising steadily at 17 knots.

The lingering allure of the Survivor 2 has certainly set new standards for its successors in the Sunseeker 116 series, and it continues to be a shining testament to its creator’s craftsmanship and the unending allure of the open sea.
