The Exquisite 34m Riva Motor Yacht Onyx Entices Buyer Within 70 Days on Market
Luxury and elegance on the high seas found a new connoisseur as the 33.5-meter Riva motor yacht, Onyx, found a buyer. The sale of this distinguished yacht underlines the enduring demand for the epitome of Italian craftsmanship that the Ferretti Group brand bestows.
Built in GRP by the Italian yard and completed in 2019, Onyx is among the treasured 32 yachts of the coveted Riva 110 Dolcevita model. Officina Italiana Design breathed life into her interiors, crafting a blend of luxury and comfort. Showcasing more than just aesthetic appeal, Onyx has been rigorously tended to since her initial voyage, recently undergoing a million-dollar refit in 2024 which encompassed her five-year class survey.
The yacht provides numerous amenities, including a Jacuzzi, a sun lounge area at the front of the bridge, and day beds perfect for basking in the sun on the flybridge. She is a versatile host, accommodating up to 10 guests in five cabins and featuring additional space for up to five crew members.
Onyx showcases impressive performance under her luxurious facade, possessing a pair of MTU engines which allow her a top speed of 24 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots. For a superior comfort at sea, she comes fitted with both gyro and fin stabilisers.
Michael Rafferty of IYC and Frank Grzeszczak Jr. of FGI Yacht Group played instrumental roles in representing the seller, while Brandon Kummer of Kitson Yachts introduced the buyer. In the end, the captivating appeal and elegance of the Onyx superseded all, making her a matchless entity in the yachting market. With her impeccable design and unparalleled comfort at sea, it’s no wonder she was secured by the new owner in no more than 70 days.
