ITCA Rooster Southern Series 2025 Culminates in an Exciting Climax at the Shoreham Super South

The anticipation was palpable as the ITCA Rooster Southern Series 2025 sailed into its grand finale at the Shoreham Super South. This thrilling climax followed a string of exciting events that welcomed a mix of seasoned sailors and promising newcomers, resulting in a year characterised by world-class competition and mutual camaraderie among all participants.

The Shoreham Super South, held on 11-12th October, saw the stalwart Southern Topper sailors battling it out for the top spots. Despite challenging light wind conditions, the hosting club, Shoreham SC, skillfully maneuvered to run four races, resulting in a considerable display of both sailing prowess and resilience under potentially unfavorable circumstances.

In reflection, The ITCA Rooster Southern Series 2025 scored high on all fronts. With eight spectacularly hosted events, the Series drew in a participation of 69 sailors, with 34 in the 5.3 fleet and 35 in the 4.2 fleet. It was successful in creating a platform that celebrated not just competition, but also communal spirit and the sheer love of sailing.

The hard work of the teams, volunteers, helpers, and parents must be lauded as their labor of love made it all possible. Their months of tireless effort culminated in the smooth execution of each event, ensuring memorable experiences for all participants. The Series was also fortunate to have Rooster as its sponsor, who generously contributed to the prize pool.
