AB Yachts has raised the bar with the delivery of its first AB 95S superyacht. A marvel of the seas, the 28.5-metre vessel is the sport version of the well-received AB 95 model. The delivery was overseen by FGI Yacht Group, with broker Simon Graham representing the experienced American owner. The superyacht launched in March from the prestigious Italian yard’s facilities in Viareggio, Italy. Onlookers were treated to the first glimpse of the model’s Archea Associati design, celebrated for a bold silhouette with smooth, sporty lines and a wraparound windshield. The superyacht is geared towards sporty enthusiasts with the need for unparalleled speed, featuring a high-tech helm station developed in collaboration with Italian shipyard Fincantieri. Furthermore, it maximises leisure and thrill with an open cockpit and aft beach club, accommodating various water sports equipment. The vessel can host eight guests in an atmosphere of absolute contemporary refinement, with a primary focus on noise reduction below the deck. Powering this stellar model are three robust 2,200hp MAN V12X-2200 engines, allowing for its staggering top speed. The engineering feat doesn’t end there as the hull and deck are also constructed in composite materials with extensive use of carbon fibre to reduce weight. This prized gem of yachting technology stands testimony to AB Yachts’ commitment to pursuing speed and technological innovation, guaranteeing to quicken the pulse of its fortunate passengers with its velocity of over an astounding 53 knots.
