Admiral's Prestigious 82m Galileo Yacht Notches Up Another Sale, Delivery Set for 2030
The brokerage firm, Ocean Independence, has reason to celebrate - they’ve announced the successful sale of the second hull from the Admiral’s distinguished 82m Galileo yacht series. Spearheading this transaction was sales broker Anton Foord, with the delivery slated for the coming decade. This monumental project, spanning over 80 metres in length and primarily constructed from robust steel and sleek aluminium, has been meticulously designed and engineered by The Italian Sea Group (TISG). The Dutch design gurus at Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design are on deck for this project, tasked with imbuing the yacht’s interior with their signature luxury aesthetic.
The maiden unit from the Galileo series is presently under construction, and was most recently observed in Marina di Carrara, Italy, where the shipyard’s facilities are located. This same spot is where the newly-sold second unit of the series is set to be constructed.
Impressively, the shipyard currently has 14 yachts either under construction or on order as per BOATPro data. The first hull from the series is among the shipyard’s most ambitious project to date, scheduled for delivery in 2026. This will be closely followed by another two 78-metre marvels, namely Amalya and Platinum.
Commending the collaboration between the Italian Sea Group and Sinot, Foord shared, ‘This 82m project is an exceptional merger of design, engineering and vision. The highly praised interiors by Sinot have been greatly favoured by the owner. We are excited to witness the evolution of this high-tonnage yacht, and eagerly anticipate introducing her to the charter market upon delivery.’
