Flagship Zeelander 8 Yacht Is Approaching End of Assembly, Set to Sail the Seas in February 2026
On the precipice of completion and ready to make waves is the newest member of the respected Zeelander 8 yacht series hatched from the Dutch shipyard. Keeping high hopes for February 2026, the yard is punctual with the delivery time, reaffirming its commitment to perfection. This yacht, the brainchild of imaginative Cor D. Rover, is positioned to travel to the Mediterranean upon completion.
The fancy extends to the yacht’s deck, featuring golden accents and glossy teak flooring. Devoted equipment for diving and other water amusement toys are also part of the package. This shows the commitment of the designers to the highest standards of luxury sailing.
Hailed as ‘whisper-quiet’ by its makers, the Zeelander 8 yacht holds an impressive record of producing less than 65dBA noise even when moving at its top speed of 30 knots. Powered by three sturdy Volvo IPS 1350 engines, it promises a sailing range of around 600 nautical miles at top speed and an astonishing 3,000 nautical miles when cruising leisurely at seven knots.
Accommodation is taken care of with five cosy cabins offering ample space for 10 occupants. A Porsche Design Seabob, diving gear sets for six, and a Williams Jet Tender 395 find a home within a dedicated tender garage on this innovative yacht, which exhibits a seamless combination of indoor-outdoor living through its ’targa’ sunroof and retractable aft windows. The yacht enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the arrival of this latest elite addition to the Zeelander family.
