Dutch Shipyards Invite the Ninth Mulder ThirtySix Luxury Yacht to Hit the Open Waters

Following a successful launch, the ninth unit of the Mulder ThirtySix yacht series sets to the sea, confirming delivery by spring 2026.

The waterways of Zoeterwoude, the Netherlands, recently witnessed the spectacular launch of the ninth unit in the Mulder ThirtySix yacht series. Ready to conquer the nautical charts, this 36-metre new build will be undergoing final outfitting and commissioning, as well as rigorous sea trials, before reaching its delivery due date in the spring of 2026.

The latest maritime offspring of the Mulder shipyard was announced in September 2025, finally coming to fruition in a deal with Alex Lees-Buckley of Camper and Nicholsons. Built for seasoned, passionate yacht owners who advocate long-range cruising and a sophisticated living experience on board, this yacht is an epitome of bespoke elegance. Featuring a low-profile exterior design by Claydon Reeves Design Studio, the vessel echoes strength and stealth.

The Dutch shipyard has incorporated features from its predecessors in the ThirtySix series, taking the opulent open flybridge from Seaflower. This admirable feature was lauded by the judges of the 2024 World Superyacht Awards. Added to this is a new Seakeeper 40 gyro to complement the model’s electric stabiliser fins. The interior design, a delicate blend of elegance, comfort, and functionality, will be curated by the time-honoured collaborator Vickers Studio. However, the finer details remain undisclosed.

This ThirtySix model will be equipped with Van Oossanen’s patented Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF), a design benchmark that ensures smooth sailing, fuel efficiency, and stability even at a maximum speed of 17 knots. The build promises a distinct ‘second master suite’ on the lower deck, providing a private, luxurious retreat for its owners. This launch comes on the heels of the sale of ‘Delta One’, ‘Mana I’, and ‘Castlefinn’ last year, adding another gleaming feather to Mulder’s cap.
