Riva Debuts Sports-Luxury Redesign with Launch of First 112 Dolcevita Super Model
La Spezia, Italy, is abuzz with the launch of the first 112 Dolcevita Super model yacht, courtesy of Italian yard Riva. The much-awaited event signals the brand’s radical restyling of its classic models, and it was all achieved by the impeccable craftsmanship of the award-winning Officina Italiana Design studio.
The new model, part of the illustrious Ferretti Group, stands out in her 34.4-metre length, proudly displaying the sporty, assertive profile that is the hallmark of all Riva flybridge yachts. However, the boat’s outstanding feature lies in its truly unique outdoor space. The beach club, with its ultra-low 35-square-metre platform, offers incomparable access to the open sea. This haven houses an extra-large, sun-drenched sofa lounge – made even more useful with a ventilated storage space for safekeeping of the two SeaBobs. Under the sunpad, one finds a large garage, spacious enough to house a tender and a Jet Ski.
The yacht’s interior also raises the bar, with the main saloon offered in two distinctive configurations – dining area aft and the lounge midships, or the more traditional lounge area by the entry and the dining area centrally placed – both reflecting the superb design elements seen on her smaller sibling, the Riva 102 Corsaro Super. The extensive use of high-gloss rosewood and decorative black leather adds a lavish touch to the yacht’s interior, emphasising guest comfort. Additions like a reinforced lower deck bulkhead and redesigned flooring enhance the overall acoustic experience, providing a tranquil environment unmatched by others.
As a testament to Riva’s commitment to innovation, the flybridge furnishings have been entirely revamped on the 112 Dolcevita Super. It flaunts a new welcoming and versatile style, with a cocktail bar featuring stools and a television facing a large sofa lounge. The model effortlessly embodies sport-luxury at its finest, promising an exceptional experience on the high seas.
With a range of projects in the pipeline, including a 70-metre hybrid superyacht commissioned by a loyal Riva customer, the future is looking bright and promising for this trusted brand. It seems that Riva, with its radical restyling and unwavering commitment to luxury, will continue to keep us intrigued and spellbound.
