The maritime world takes a fresh breath as the second hull of the flagship 40MXP series by Numarine, aptly christened Mitan, graces the waters. Designed with the South American owners’ tastes in mind, Mitan, a spectacular 39.4-metre yacht, elegantly marries the practicality of long-range expedition capabilities with an irresistible ethos of outdoor living. The secret behind this unique blend lies in the natural evolution from Numarine’s highly esteemed 37XP design.

Regarded as the distinguishing feature of this flagship series, the remarkable aft deck, a sheer epitome of meticulous design, intrigues the most discerning of yacht lovers. By extending the hull and shifting the aft sliding doors of the saloon just a bit forward, an entirely new spatial dimension has been created. Now, the aft deck accommodates a spacious al fresco dining space, a bar, a lounge and a wrap-around aft pool with a magnetic allure.

The awe-inspiring look of Mitan is credited to Can Yalman, a long-standing Numarine collaborator, while the naval architecture is the handiwork of the inimitable Umberto Tagliavini. Mitan outshines her sistership Miouch, delivered in August, with an exclusively tailored interior and exterior colour palette.

Performing as impressively as she appears, Mitan provides a staggering 6000-nautical-mile range at eight knots, thanks to her twin MAN 800hp engines. The yacht’s performance can be further enhanced with an optional Tier III-compliant 900hp configuration.

Signalling an overwhelming interest, Numarine’s 40MXP is rapidly growing in popularity, with a third model already been sold and is presently under construction, slated for a grand unveiling next year.
