Unleashing Power: Williams Introduces the Evene Superyacht Tenders, Promising More Capacity and Enhanced Design Features
In the thrilling world of luxury sea vessels, Williams, a renowned jet-tender specialist based in the UK, has launched an enticing new range of superyacht tenders, the Evene Series. The new line, named Evene, showcases two initial models - the 5.7m Origin 57 and the 7.1m Origin 71. With their distinctive designs, it’s expected that this launch will soon be followed by larger versions.
Despite the different ship lengths (LOAs), both models share a similar design foundation with a 2.25m beam dimension. Unlike the rest of Williams’ Jet Tender range, the Evene vessels do not sport inflatable RIB tubes. They instead boast a solid GRP hull coupled with an innovative Petestep underwater design.
The Evene vessels pack a serious punch when it comes to power. Each is powered by a single Yanmar 4LV diesel engine, complemented by one of Williams’ own waterjet designs. The Origin 57 engine is rated at 195hp while the 71’s is 250hp, and both vessels can achieve an estimated top speed of 36 knots. The fuel capacity also sees an improvement, with the 71 model boasting an expanded capacity from 100 litres to 140 litres compared to the 57 model.
Despite the absence of extra buoyancy from the inflatable tubes, the seating arrangement in these vessels is impressive. The smaller model, intended for yachts over 30m, comfortably seats up to nine people, whereas the larger version can accommodate up to 13, catering to yachts over 40m.
In line with Williams’ commitment to sustainability, the engines have been designed to run on HVO100 (hydrotreated vegetable oil) alongside regular diesel. The fitout also incorporates decks made from plantation-grown cork and upholstery stitched from recycled PET bottles.
Lastly, the Evene line is fully customizable according to the owner’s preferences, right from seating layouts to array of optional equipment, and even the name and colorways tailored to match the mother vessel. With prices yet to be announced, the Evene vessels will make their public debut at Cannes Yachting Festival in September, promising a taste of a refined onsea adventure in a sleek, powerful, and sustainable boating masterpiece.
