The Italian boatyard Cantiere delle Marche has revealed an adventurous new addition to its fleet - Haze², owned by UK entrepreneur Steve Rigby.

When it comes to capturing the spirit of unfettered oceanic adventure, few master it as mesmerizingly as Italian boatyard Cantiere delle Marche (CdM). Its latest innovation to grace the waters is Haze², the latest addition to the lauded Darwin 102 series.

The proud owner of this 30.8-meter spectacle is British entrepreneur Steve Rigby, an experienced sailor with a fondness for the tranquil waters. His relationship with CdM took root upon a captivating tour of the Darwin 106 at none other than the 2022 Cannes Yachting Festival. The enchanting expedition-ready spirit of the Darwin models combined with CdM’s impeccable ability to tailor-make each vessel uniquely to the owner’s desires earned the British businessman’s faith.

Italian studio Hydro Tec lent their expertise to the naval architecture and exterior design. Their effort, combined with the use of innovative technologies, culminated in the creation of an exceptional vessel that seamlessly balances style and substance. The result: a free-roaming and technologically advanced yacht embodying both luxurious comfort and the raw spirit of sea exploration.

Revving under Haze²’s hood are twin Caterpillar engines, offering a remarkable cruising range of over 5000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 9 knots. This feature ensures that no corner of the world’s waterways remains beyond reach for this brave beauty. Moreover, the yacht’s dual-classification as a private and charter vessel speaks of its versatility and adaptability. The splendid sun deck, equipped with a Jacuzzi and sunpads, encourages lounging under the vast open skies while cruising the open waters.

Artistry and engineering find their breathtaking confluence in Haze², a striking manifestation of Rigby’s quest for seamless harmony between opulence and exploration. And as CdM continues to break new grounds with its upcoming projects, including a peek into its newest flagship, RJ - unveiled at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show - the future of luxury yachting looks set for yet even more exciting adventures.
