Arcadia Soars to New Heights with the A80new: First-ever Raised-pilothouse Model in the Beacon of Innovation
Italian yard, Arcadia, revered for its semi-custom cruisers of the future, launches its first-ever raised-pilothouse model, the A80new. This 80ft yacht, the epitome of innovation and luxury, is already making waves with elements typically only found on considerably larger vessels. The pièce de résistance is the full-beam owner’s cabin on the main deck, facilitated by an unusually tall, near-vertical bow and an elevated foredeck at the same height as the flybridge, leaving room underneath for a remarkably spacious, high-ceilinged owner’s suite featuring outstanding views via oversized hull windows.
Traditional design seamlessly blends with progressive elements in the rest of the vessel. The flybridge extends forward from the raised pilothouse, offering multiple options for alfresco dining under a hard top or soaking up the sun in more exposed areas, with an outdoor helm station located on the starboard side. The elongated aft cockpit transitions seamlessly into the indoor saloon and dining area. An expansive hydraulic platform, when deployed, extends the beach club area and reveals a stairway to the sea, encapsulating the essence of relaxed open-air luxury.
Powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS drives, the A80new promises brisk cruises of 16 or 18 knots, with top speeds at a third load, cited as up to 21 knots. Starting at €6,200,000 (excluding taxes), it is an investment in luxury, comfort, and cutting-edge marine technology that pushes the boundaries of ultimate boating experience, truly rocking the foundations of the yachting world.
