ER Yacht Design, a Vancouver-based studio, proudly unveils the MedEx, a 40-metre yacht designed with emblematic Mediterranean voyages in mind.

ER Yacht Design, a revered name in the world of sailing, proudly presents MedEx, a novel sailing development packed with luxury features. Designed as a maritime limousine, the 40-metre vessel sails head-high with a 9.5-metre beam and an exclusive draught of just two metres for easy access to shallow waters.

True to the concept of Mediterranean cruising, the MedEx revolutionises the boating experience with impeccably designed social spaces for enjoyable day cruising. The vessel caters to the need for luxury with its open deck areas featuring sleek removable sunshade covers, a jacuzzi, storage provisions for tenders and toys, and even an optional certified helicopter landing area.

Underlying these opulent features, the yacht intelligently capitalises on beach club configurations that extend over the water, adding to the usable deck space. Alongside supporting swim-lovers and social butterflies, these foldable side terraces accrue added advantage in hosting larger gatherings when necessary.

Aboard MedEx, living quarters are a lavish galore for 10 guests across five double cabins, four of which are located on the main deck. The owner’s suite enjoys a consummate position at the aft-quarter on the bridge deck, adjacent to the optional helideck and an exclusive entrance.

Below the deck, the yacht spotlights functional spaces for 10 crew members alongside technical spaces and storage. The vessel is programmed with zero-speed stabilisers and a bow thruster, boosting comfort and manoeuvrability. Furthermore, it promises an estimated range of 5,500 nautical miles reinforcing its touring capabilities with cruise rates at 10.5 knots.
